  1. For at least 70 years the so-called Centre Right has attempted to ward off electoral pressure from the Fascists/ultra-nationalists with appeasement. Instead of challenging and pushing back against their hateful agenda they have compromised with it. Consequently, they have normalised racism, homophobia and misogyny. They have turned the likes of Le Pen, Wilders and Meloni into mainstream politicians.
