  1. The Israeli invasion suggests panic. For years, they have aided the terrorists against Assad as a disruptive measure. Now there's a possibility that the terrorists will turn on them and they'll need to fight on three fronts when they were already struggling against two adversaries.

  2. Neither Canada nor Mexico offered any concessions whatsoever. The promises to strengthen the border had already been made BEFORE Trump levied his idiotic tariffs. He caved in because the two countries had declared that they would levy counter-tariffs on US goods and these would have hurt "Red" states the most. Trump was forced to back down by his own supporters and donors. He hadn't realised that other countries have agency too. He thought that he could punch down without being punched back. Big mistake. All he's achieved is demonstrating that he's an imbecile who doesn't understand foreign relations.

  4. Don't ignore Hersh. He has a very good crap-detector. He's the one who called out the US bombing Cambodia in the 1970s, challenged Bush's lies about WMD in Iraq and was one of the first to point out the use of false flag chemical attacks by the US-supported Jihadists in Syria. He's not always right but he does have a good track record.
