This is so humbling. The real message we should take from The Holocaust is that decency, like that shown by this wonderful gentleman, rose above it and survived to confront evil. Zionism is a force which seeks to continue that evil.

Starmer is the Right's candidate in the same way that Blair was in his day. The establishment have twigged the fact that their favoured party has now become so clownish and incompetent and that they think that it is bound to be replaced by the opposition at the next election. So they have taken over the opposition! The optimist in me tells me that they may well have miscalculated. There's no doubt that he's getting an easy ride from the press and media and is consequently getting a lift in the polls but I can't help feeling that he's alienated more people on the left than he will have gained from the so-called "centre". Let's see what happens in the local elections. It won't ( and shouldn't) be good for the Tories but is it going to as good for Labour as the polls would have us believe?

Trump's father's business model was to buy up cheap property occupied by African Americans, use the vilest of tactics to force them out, then "gentrify" and charge higher rents or sell on at higher prices. This plan for Gaza is just an upscaled version of the same thing. I'd like to say that he's evil but he's one stage beyond that. He's amoral. He doesn't even have enough humanity in him to even have bad morals.
