Question 1 is a false premise. The notion that people do not care about what has happened elsewhere is simply a false assumption. Question 2 also a false premise. Caring about others is not a zero-sum consideration. Anger about, say, Indian treatment of Kashmiris or Turkish treatment of the Kurds is neither greatened nor lessened by what happens to Palestinians. Again, this smug Nazi is making assumptions for whch he has zero evidence. Question 3. It wasn't the Palestinians who started the war in 1947, it was the UN. The Palestinians responded to a foreign entity telling them they had to share their country with foreign settlers in exactly the same way that any other people would. Do you think the people of Wyoming, for example, would happily obey a UN order to allow a Romany state to be established on half of their state? Or perhaps the UN has the authority to carve out part of France and award it to the Cornish? Is that a question you can answer, Nazi At this point my patience got lost. I realised that I am using up otherwise useful time pointing out the flaws in the arguments of a vile racist. It's like trying to isolate the bad parts of the Third Reich whrn it was ALL bad. Zionism is a racist colonial endeavour and therefore offensive to any decent human being. We don't have to answer you whataboutery. You are evil. And you will be overcome. Period.

The Palestinians are the descendants of those peoples, including Hebrews, who have always inhabited the Levant. Some of them retained their Jewish faith, some converted to Christianity, some to Islam. There will certainly be some mixing of people from other parts of the Ottoman Empire and outside it. That is the nature of empires but poor rural populations tended not to move very much before the end of the 19th century It is also possible that some of the post 1948 Zionist immigrants might have some genetic links to the place but DNA tests of Ashkenazi Jews in the US have largely shown them to be mostly of Eastern European or Central Asian origin. Such tests are, for obvious reasons, illegal in Israel.
