  1. Scapegoating and deporting an identified "other" has been a feature of tyrannical governments for hundreds of years. Think of Louis XIV and the Hugeonots or Tsarist Russia's expulsion of Jews. It might be worth remembering that the recipients of the majority of these two groups, Great Britain and Prussia prospered greatly from the skills and work ethic they brought with them. Maybe Mexico and Canada will benefit from this stupidity on Trump's part.
