  1. Her books are given away FFS. Hardly anyone buys them. And that's not surprising. Her writing style is turgid and boring and her "philosophy" is incoherent and illogical. Without market bucking promotion by free market Fascists she would have disappeared into obscurity long ago: an irony which escapes people like Brook.

  2.  @Stonecoldfrank  Do you mean "Atlas Shrugged"? Yes. Many years ago out of curiosity. Unfortunately, I will never get that wasted time back. The idea that there are people so twisted that they can relate to such garbage saddens me greatly but there is a logic to it. Greedy, selfish, and arrogant people like, for example, Allan Greenspan or Charles Koch quite naturally feel alienated from a society which quite rightly despises them and holds them in contempt. She takes their lack of human warmth and makes it heroic; sexy even. In the narrative she creates, their very inadequcies become the characteristics which put them above other human beings. It's entirely understandable that they relate to it.
