What separates them from Hollywood stars, news presenters or Strictly judges is the fact that they have the most formidable and ruthless public relations operation ever set up anywhere. They get constant (and nearly always sympathetic) press and media coverage and a tacit agreement that they will not be publicly criticised for anything unless it has already blown up like a carbuncle which needs to be lanced - like Andrew's friendship with a child sex groomer or Charles's infidelity to Diana. With that sort of PR, you could make anthrax popular. The fact that the magic is fading despite this treatment is really just testament to the congenital stupidity, insensitivity and arrogance of these inbred clowns.
