  7. Yeah they say we don't pronounce R's but we do we just don't overpronouncs them like every word has 5 of them like Americans. Americans say Rrrrrrr like a pirate in every word. You can pronounce R softly and it's still being said like Australians do. I think thats where rhe confusion comes form we are are saying R just not as hard and empathised as they are.

  23. You can say the R in Cairns and thats fine just say it like C-air-ns not C-arrrr-ns. It's the way Americans overpronounce the R like in caramel that annoys us. When we say Cairns we are saying R it's just not overpronounced that's all. We do say R in other words aswell just a soft R not a hard R.
