The interesting thing about Walmart for an Australian is how much is in the same store. Its pretty much 3-4 different stores from Australia combined. Supermarket, Department store, liquor store and a fabric/craft store all in one

All Americans will try to downplay the gun situation I just switch off when they start the speech. Don't get me wrong I like Ian but there is just no defending it and trust me they will try.

6:24 Yeah in Australia Airsoft and BB guns are considered firearms and are illegal. Mainly due to the risk of people assuming they are guns and being used for a robbery.
3
I don't think she forgot that the point is we don't have a store that combines them both. We certainly dont have a store that combines Supermarket,Department, Liquor and fabric and crafts.
3
15:25 Yeah haha you have a point Jello sounds Aussie I guess 😂😂 But we call it Jelly so it's always confusing to hear US people call jam jelly.
3
Yeah the sweet bread really confuses me.
2
But think of the overload of choice and the chance of getting lost 😂😂 Go in to do grocery shopping and come out with half the store.
2
Yeah I think I prefer it our way you can have too much in one store.
2
8:45 I like that the alcohol isn't behind locked glass doors 😂😂 Yeah lock up the Christmas wrapping paper and protein powder but not the alcohol....
2
Was before my time but that's interesting. Guess us Australians just like our stores separate.
2
NSW they are illegal and considered a firearm.
2
@IWrocker Something something school shootings 🙄 Love ya Ian but your idea of shocking is bizarre lmfao.
2
@Ishlacorrin Bruh I have never seen poptarts ever talked about sold or eaten in Australia. Maybe it exists somewhere but you can't claim they are a popular food item.
2
Yeah I think Australian just prefer to go to specialised stores. We are not really into the mega store that contains everything.
2
That's the first thing I laughed at like wtf. Yeah lock up the Christmas wrapping paper and protein powder but not the alcohol?
1
Ah the mystery had been solved of wtf is the difference between Jelly and Jam. For a long time I thought Americans put Jello on peanut butter sandwiches
1
@IWrocker You can easily spray paint those orange markers or remove them you realise? Those only work in good faith if you want to hide them you can.
1
10:10 I actually have seen a few people drinking seltzers recently in Australia. They taste horrible I agree like a soda water...
1
Welcome to the rest of world lmfao. Acting like NSW hasn't been doing that for years.
1
The port Arthur massacre might have had something to do with that...
1
Yep always laugh at Americans who try to downplay it You find the odd Australian that joins them aswell, and complains about our gun regulation I think they should be deported honestly.
1
Yeah the prices on unhealthy food is probably a big reason why America has these kind of issues. Or maybe their healthy food is cheap aswell who knows we might just be getting screwed.
1
Yeah makes sense we would have more Asian and Indian while America has more Mexican food. We both are closer to those places America literally shares a border with Mexico so ofcourse they will have Mexican stuff.
1
I think its less she's too young to know that Boomer and more that was in the 80s. We used to one black people and put them to work in the cotton field aswell...
1
14:29 wow those cordial bottles are truly tiny wtf is up with that.
1
@IWrocker I think Australians prefer it separated personally atleast. I would get overwhelmed in such a large store plus I might buy too many things 😂😂
1
10:42 Wow didn't except Bundaberg to be sold in Walmart damn that's surprising
1
Well you can't walk down the street with a gun on your hip. And they need to be locked in a safe not just in your sock drawer. But yeah they ain't illegal aslong as your following the rules. Also like you said you can't just buy a gun for self protection like Americans do. You have be using it for shooting as a sport or actually be hunting as a farmer. So most Americans consider that illegal, since they want to pull it out whenever someone looks at them sideways.
1
Americans will always rationalise and downplay the gun issue honestly just let them ramble on. I like the dude but he's totally brainwashed as are the rest of them when it comes to guns.
1
Change that ☹ to a 😀 or we might have to deport you.
1
@partymanau You can definitely own a gun if you want to shoot for sport or hunt. You cannot own a gun for self protection because thats a stupid reason and they will not allow it. If you want a gun so you can "protect" yourself your the issue not the laws.
1
14:35 Yeah wow we have a ton more soft drink choices here, seems half the aisle was just coke.
1
5:03 Didn't Walmart untill recently tho still sell real guns and ammo?
1
Might want to brush up on the school shooting and mass shooting statistics GOD BLESS AMERICS I will take no mass shooting since 1996 as a fair trade buddy.
1
I would replace bunnings warehouse with spotlight but yeah it seems like it's every store combined.
1
Gel blasters are not legal in NSW so it's state by state I guess.
1
18:50 lol didn't expect them to sell Milo in Walmart even if it's not from Australian.
1
@TheTazzietiger Aussie here no mass shooting since 1996 which is my entire living life is a good result. I think the gun laws are working and boomers should keep quite or move to America.
1
Yesh seltzer is getting popular here for sure.
1
19:35 Yeah that always confused me about America you guys call Jam as Jelly but it seems to be a different thing? When you guys say peanut butter and Jelly I presume it's Jam but maybe it's different.
1
16:06 You guys don't need to buy it because it's in 90% of your food and drink😂😂 Sad that you guys replace sugar with corn syrup and even put it in things that doesn't need sugar.
1
Never have I ever seen or heard of a poptart being sold in Australia. Your acting like its a common thing?
1
Yeah the maple syrup thing threw me off aswell but I didn't know golden syrup was a boomer thing.
1
3:21 People be stealing christmas paper protein powder? Lmfao 😂😂 I like how Brandon was even surprised at the locked glass.
1
11:52 Jesus fucking christ man that's a shit load of cereal. Like she said I have never seen bags that big. Usually ours come in small boxes not huge bags like that. Plus we don't have all that sugary stuff. We have like maybe 2-3 surgery cereals certainly not enough to dedicate half an aisle to them.
1
Ah didn't know this was the reason why alcohol is different for each supermarket. Makes sense especially aldi only hiring 18+ and Coles and woollies having separate liquor stores.
1
16:29 Yeah that's fake news I love maple syrup but I never had the real stuff just maple flavoured syrup.
1
13:00 Poptarts definitely are not a world phenomenon it's a solely American thing. Sure maybe you could buy them in some places, but I have never seen anyone eat them or buy them ever.
1
8:42 Some supermarkets do sell Alcohol but it's at a separate store also owned by the supermarket. You will never see alcohol on the shelves next to food like this tho that's illegal.
1
Maybe the issue is Australia just prefer separate stores aswell but idk.
