Honestly I'm learning some of these rules for the first time myself we played a simple version of this without all these rules. I used to hit it below the knees all the time and used to cup the ball or "carry" it was kind of my favourite way to do it lol.

Also heard it called 4 square in my school it was exclusively played with 4 people.

Absolutely similar to a tennis match a rally between 2 players could go on for a long time and get really competitive. I remember my school having tournaments at one stage man this is brining back memories. And yes agree 100% on the low flying shots you would try hit it as close to the concrete as possible.

Yeah agreed on rules varying some of these I have never heard of but the basic concept is the Same.

Agreed on the low to the ground rally bit I remember so many times a rally just being really low shots like that back to back. That would be the power move you do to get someone out go from a normal play to a low to ground power shot.

I remember playing handball at lunch whenever I wasn't playing football. If this not a thing in other countries? Handball used to be so fun and I knew I a couple of nice shots, we always played in a square of 4 with 4 players.

Video brought back some memories for alot of people I guarantee. Playing handball at lunch is one of my best school memories along with playing Rugby League.

Swoops was my favourite move never know what to call them but it was for sure the most dangerous move.

We didn't play the above the knee rule lol the best shot was always those low bouncing ones that people have to bend down for. Also never heard of king/queen etc squares we didn't play that rule or didn't know about it.

Agreed on both I would cup all the time to hit a low power shot but I didn't carry the ball rather hit it in a cupping motion.

This is honestly bringing back so many memories from primary school lunch with friends. We played some different rules but the concept is pretty much the same. We called it handball and played with a tennis ball not a bouncy ball.

"Retrieving the ball after gameplay" bro this hit hard you would have to chase rhe ball for ages sometimes. My school where we played had mutiple handball courts and you would have to chase it through them all lol.
