  1. Politics fucked this up we legit would have had top speed internet untill another Party got in and ruined the entire plan. Some cities and new developments still have FTTP but most other places have the new FTTN which is worse. That's what sucks they got a quarter of the work done and then just stopped.

  2. Also just to make it clear the internet is fine in Australia for most things we can watch Netflix and download stuff just fine. The problem is its 10% of the speed of top internet speeds in other countries which NBN should have fixed. Also our uploads are pathetically slow but downloads are honestly fine.
