With the Tories NOW you can give assets up to the threshold of a £1M without paying inheritance tax, Labour’s policy is to reduce the threshold down to £125,000 ( so with Labour if your house is worth £600,000 your children will have to give Keir £190,000). ( before you say this is a lie, check it with a solicitor like I did)

@mda5003 You can still give assets up to £1M if you are single ( the trick is to go to a solicitor when your wife is alive and do a will, it costs about £300.00) I know to be true because I did it myself
