With the Tories the inheritance tax threshold is £325,000.00 plus your wife's allowed threshold again £325,000.00, plus another £175,000.00 each one of you can give if your giving to your child or adopted child (that is a total of £1M you can give to your next of kin without paying tax)- this is providing you do a will that only costs £300.00. ( I know ,I did my will last year). Labour's policy is to reduce the threshold from £1M to £125,000 , and make people pay 45% tax over £125,000.00. Labour want this money to level up (basically rob from the poor and give to the scroungers and immigrants.
