The inheritance tax law now is, if you die you can give ( up to £1M to your next of kin tax free, there's a 45% tax cut for the government after £1M ( it's called the threshold) The Labour party want to reduce the threshold down to £125,00.00 ( forcing people to pay 45% inheritance tax over £125,000.00). They call it levelling up, in other words they want to rob hundreds of thousands form each homeowner ( mainly poor people) to finance lazy Labour supporters on benefits ( don't take my word, just google their manifesto policy on inheritance tax and see for yourselves)
