@alonzo9561 I don't quite understand your comment, but I will attempt an answer. Another SCMP video stated that Mainland China would not give lab samples of live viruses to other countries (don't know/understand China's logic). It was MOST LIKELY VERY DIFFICULT for Australian Researchers (or anybody else) to grow the virus sample they have. Also, it is VERY EXPENSIVE to produce any new vaccine, since the Coronavirus is a NEW STRAIN; it is not like the common influenza virus, that people are familiar with, + therefore can produce many # of, + @ a relatively cheap price. Don't know where your grandma lives; just remind her to take PREVENTIVE MEASURES. For your grandma, YOU CAN CHECK, the website of the United States' Center for Disease Control... (CDC) Just remind your grandma to be CAREFUL + SHE WILL BE FINE.

Hong Kong Researchers SHOULD NOT SUBJECT ANIMALS to the vaccine. Test the vaccine on LIVE, HUMAN VOLUNTEERS. INNOCENT ANIMALS SHOULD NOT SUFFER FOR MAN'S STUPIDITY, esp since the infection, SHOULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED.

@slatt8667 Hi. You can pay the human volunteers A LOT OF MONEY +/or maybe an altruistic relative of a patient who is has been infected. Many researchers/scientists/health professionals have a generous spirit + I tend to think some of them would volunteer. And there is also the mayor of Wuhan. To me, it just seems, other creatures ARE ALWAYS PAYING FOR OUR IDIOCY; human nature/behavior WILL NOT CHANGE, UNTIL THERE IS MASSIVE REPERCUSSIONS for our moronic habits.

@slatt8667 But WE DECIDED "we are on top of the food chain." And considering how fast we succumb to Caronavirus, MERS, Zika, Ebola, SARS + a multitude of other diseases, I question if it is actually true. I agree with you, that eradicating animal testing will be uber-difficult, but for me, that is not a reason, not to do it. Thanx for this civil comments.
