@shrinerspark
OK, first you should try to be positive, because that will strengthen your immune system, + help A LOT.
I presume you are staying at home, AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, because this is THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW.
While you are home, do something you love + that makes you happy - again, makes your immunity better.
I presume you are in the US- correct me if I am wrong.
The BEST MASK is the "N95 Mask", what the doctors + nurses wear; they were $35 on eBay last week, I just checked,
but THEY ARE LOT MORE EXPENSIVE NOW. But you can still surf the web, to see if you can get AN AFFORDABLE
N95 MASK.
Beside the N95 Mask, try to buy some surgical ones, IF YOU CAN.
Taiwan HAS CONTAINED the virus, + as you might know, Hong Kong is doing comparatively well, esp since CE Lam
HAS NOT BEEN HELPFUL AT ALL. Both the people of HK + Taiwan WORE MASKS FROM THE INITIAL OUTBREAK; +
THIS KEPT COMMUNITY SPREAD TO A MINIMUM.
If you can't buy any masks, try to make one like this video; you can ALWAYS make them with additional layers, if the
additional layers makes you feel safer.
If you don't have enough paper towel, cut up some old clothes, with as many layers as you feel safe with, + hand sew
the layers together, with rubber bands for the sides over your ears (borrow thread, needle, rubber bands from a healthy
person, if you have to)
Even though I am Cantonese-American, + not responsible for what Beijing has done, but as an ethnic Chinese, I feel an
obligation now to help others.
So, PLEASE POST ME ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS YOU HAVE; or if you just want to write/"talk" about the situation,
WE CAN ALSO DO THAT, esp if communicating will decrease your stress.
Looking forward to you next post.
Stay positive + stay strong; we WILL GET THRU THIS together.
