@user-uo9vl4ki4o I have always admired Premier Zhou Enlai; he is 1 of the great statesmen of the 20th century. The mentor + rehabilitator of Deng Xiaoping, he was the first person in 1963 to propose China's 4 modernizations. Sadly it was not until after the premier's death + the defeat of the Gang of 4, that Deng was finally able to bring to fruition what his mentor has advocated 11 yrs prior. If it was up to me, Zhou's portrait, + not that of Mao, would hang @ the south gate of Tiananmen Square.

@JosidaJOJO-uk2bg With all due respect to you, not to Mao, I don't agree with Mao; he also thanked Japan in the 1950's + 1970's for invading China during WW II. Mao thought the japanese brutalities in China "helped to unite China and his win over the KMT". China would have been united, WITHOUT the atrocities of the japanese.

@JosidaJOJO-uk2bg We can agree to disagree about Mao. For me, the important thing is Zhou En Lai, Deng Xiao Ping and Xi presently, are working hard for ALL Chinese.
