  2. I have to commend Tumul; he keeps their home incredibly pristine. He has a healthy marriage, compared to the last one I saw; a Korean husband manipulating his Mexican wife from taking a great job, so he can keep her "barefoot + pregnant".

  4. I like Tumul immensely; he is an exemplary dad, a good husband + a marvelous homemaker. He is 1 of the best husband/dad in this Korean show. He just should let his wife cook sometimes, so she doesn't get "frustrated"

  5. Chan Chan has more patience me. I could understand if he can't do Math in his head, but forgetting that they are buying tomatoes x3, is unacceptable. It is definitely not his age, which appears to 35 - 40ish; some people older than 70 are quicker than him. Perhaps he got kicked in the head too often, during Taekwondo. The male host is surprised he does everything as per his wife; he has too, because she is the smart one. She had the foresight to teach her baby English.

  15. Tumul's father-in-law was always nicer to him than the mother-in-law. Didn't appreciate her telling Tumul, "My daughter shouldn't learn this..."; she is rather crass sometimes. Tumul was correct; Seonghee should also learn, because she likes to cook.

  16. This dad is significantly better than the other dads/husbands in this series. He has a demanding job (when your clients call you, you can't say, "I have to go home to my family".) Even though he came home @ Xmas, after the time he promised, he did feel bad/responsible and: -went out early to buy grocery - make breakfast noodles - did some housework - + later bought a cake for his family to enjoy. He has the best relationship with his youngest child, whom is "Daddy's Little Girl" + is not angry at her father. Since the oldest boy feels neglected by his dad, I think mom should postpone her dream of opening a cafe (part 2). Mom should also explain to the oldest boy that his father has difficult job; lunchtime is spent returning client's call.

And the husband's mom is available to care for her granddaughter.(See other video.) He is just an archaic male chauvinist, whom wants to keep his wife @ home. Also, I highly doubt it "was easy" for koko's mom; she just was very dedicated to her kid/s.

Tumul is a better homemaker than many women; how many women would go thru the trouble of buying a large pool, set it up in the living room + then get into it, to play with their child, while still maintaining the LR in a fairly orderly state. I completely understand why he was so disappointed when his daughter ran to her mother, as soon as the latter came home; Tumul made an extraordinary effort to get/set up the pool, for his daughter. Pretty Seonghee seems to appreciate how good of a man her husband is.

Also: -if Xmas is so important for this family, why did mom only make coca cola chicken, salad, + white rice for the Xmas dinner? For this holiday, there many dishes. -he did go shopping, did housework + made breakfast for the family + later bought a cake: these show he "love and support his family". Obviously, the fathers you alluded to don't have demanding jobs; this man does. It is not "excuses"; it is his Reality.
