  2. I think he "played" her to stay home for 1-2 yrs; the make over + trip was to pacify her + dissuade her from working, not because he was a supportive husband.

And the husband's mom is available to care for her granddaughter.(See other video.) He is just an archaic male chauvinist, whom wants to keep his wife @ home. Also, I highly doubt it "was easy" for koko's mom; she just was very dedicated to her kid/s.

In another video, he was criticizing her for drinking coke + gaining weigh, but he is too selfish + stupid, to realize she will lose the weight, if she was working. He is dinosaur, male chauvinist, whom wants to keep his wife at home, to take of their hyperactive child, so he doesn't have to.

  7. It is extremely disappointing when even the female host praise the self-centered husband for destroying his wife's dream. It is a sad commentary on Korean Society, when even Korean women enables + encourages such regressive behavior. For me, it is more about the sense of achievement that come with your own, salaried job; your own independence, your own money, to spend as you wish.

He didn't want her working, bc then he will have to take care of their daughter. (He didn't know what class she is in.) He is too stupid to realize, by working outside of their home, she will lose lots of weight, she gained as homemaker. He better keep his mouth shut, next time she drinks her coke or gain additional weight, staying home. Sad that even the female host praised him for: -crushing his wife's dream -pacifying her with the inconsequential makeover + trip. Most people need a sense of achievement; he stole that from his wife, for his own selfishness.
