I am being very serious: you + ALL veterans should protest the $4 billion, the US gives annually to Israel.

Just today the US in the Security Council VETOED a Brazilian resolution calling for a ceasefire; without the US veto, the resolution would had passed.

@dianaprince1552 We do give $4 billion annually; the exact figure is $3.8 billion, but if you KNOW Math, we always round it off to 4. I was born in NYC, grew up in a crime ridden housing project, went abroad to pursue my professional degree, returned to the States + paid off my student loan EARLY.

@dianaprince1552 Bottom line, we still give them $4 billion annually. Because of the present conflict, we are giving them even MORE now; Prof. Rashid Khalidi of Columbia U, said that Biden may be asking Congress for $100 billion to support Israel presently.

@PeugeotRocket We are not "helping an ally", but propping up a govt that continues to VIOLATE MANY INTERNATIONAL LAWS + is presently committing crimes against humanity, while many in the world community hates us for doing so. When the US vetoed sending aid to the Gazans/Palestinians in the UNSC, the overwhelming majority of Americans in the thread were disgusted/ashamed. Interestingly, you don't consider Saudi Arabia, Egypt + Qatar, whom brokered the release of the mother/daughter hostages, to be true allies - tells me a lot about your biases.
