@augustus331 Vietnam is just USING the US, as the Americans are using Vietnam. If Vietnam really is antagonized by China, then Vietnam would exit China's Belt +Road Initiative, which the former has not done.

China NEVER initiated the failed, disastrous decoupling/derisking policy led by the declining US + aped by spineless Europe. It was when the economies of the West started to falter, they finally realized the stupidity of this American policy (like so many).

Even the decent Canadians do it; in fact China had accused Canada of "the 2 Michaels" spying + Canada retaliated by illegally arresting Hwawei's CFO - Meng Wanzhou, as directed by the US; It has now been revealed that Michael Spavor was REALLY spying on the Chinese, then sent the info to Michael Kovrig, whom forwarded it to Five Eyes. Michael Spavor is now suing the Canadian gov't.

@Waverlyduli The Chinese economy is doing splendidly compared to those of the US/West/Japan. China will do just fine trading/working with the Global South.
