  1. @canto_v12 It is MORE than a pragmatic policy. China did suffer enormously from western imperialism and have empathy for those that experience the same injustice. (reason why China has supported Palestine since the 1960's, even more vigorously after 10/7/23, when the world was not doing so ) india always brags it is a 'friend to Russia', but when Russia was in trouble, india bought cheap Russian oil, and just resold it for obscene profit - essentially kicking Russia, when it was down.

  3. After sanctions and seizure of Russian assets, it was China whom helped to keep the Russian economy going, while india took advantage and exploited cheap Russian oil.
