  8. Supercop is STILL 1 of the best action flick; also love it because Michelle's character has my Cantonese name - Wa Nieur. Michelle should have been nominated for CTHD, which is far superior to Gladiator. If the Academy is fair + just, Michelle will get her Best Actress Oscar in March.

He thought that it would not make a lot lof money, if it can't be shown on the Mainland, so he didn't want to do it. We know he is chasing the Mainland market, because he is greedy. Agree - had Jackie been the lead, the movie would have been ghastly. I think EEAAO is a homage to Hong Kong Cinema - Gung Fu, zany comedies, "hot dog fingers" from the 1991 HK film 'Dances with Dragon', etc.
