Chinese/most Asians (except Japan during WW II) are not "American, in your face aggressive", but rather diplomatic + analytical, viewing the long term consequences of political rhetoric. So if China was just as hysterical as the US vis-a-vis Taiwan, we would have another conflict in the SCS, while dealing with the asymmetrical Hamas-Israel confrontation + the other previous ones.

I don't need to study your Anglo Saxon approach (don't be condescending; I know a lot more than you) which is the reason why the US is in decline + Europe is completely irrelevant for most countries. You should know China is 5000 y/o + during this time she has been the apex of the world several times. Also, Japan tried the Western approach in the 19th century, culminating in being bombed twice @ the end of WW II.
