  1. Indeed. The us under the umbrella of NATO and the WTO must really have done a number of veiled threats to Switzerland (eg if you dont freeze their assets, we'll freeze yours as accessories). Iirc, even H-tler and N-zi Germany weren't sanctioned by Switzerland. Switzerland may survive invasion, but likely wouldn't survive being cut off financially from the world (read: US and allies).

  3. Why were Russian assets frozen or seized, while N-zi German assets were not? Are we saying Putin is worse than H-tler? No amount of western propaganda can lead me to that conclusion. And yes, both Russia and the west (US and allies) have their own national interests.

  4. NATO kinda caused this whole debaucle. It should have been dissolved when the Warsaw pact was, or at the very least not expanded past Germany, per US-Russian/Soviet agreement. Russia tried pulling an America in Iraq with Ukraine, but didn't have enough allies to drink the koolaide like the americans had While I think NATO shouldve been dissolved, I think a European defence force would be appropriate. In fact, NATO might have hampered the further development of the EU into a proper federation like the US or Canada. Imagine if the old American confederacy were still around (1781-1788) and another country had each american state join that "NATO." Would it not stunt the american growth?
