Britain did try (a bit too late) in the early 80s of introducing democracy, but the current Chinese leadership threatened to just march their troops in if they did.

Hmm. Maybe I dont have enough modern sampling supply, but al Jazeera seems to lean slightly towards china. Also, all media is doing this, but how about having a guest who is actually a contrarian rather than an "i agree" or "i think its slightly more this..."

The police system is showing how much it has not progressed. Why doesn't us city and state govts look at canada, UK, etc as examples for revising their system. Start with that and tweak for america, not the other way around.
