"1.3 children born..." I sure am glad I wasn't one of those .3 kids that were born. I like my limbs 😋

@itsRue Govt collapse just means new elections. It doesn't mean revolutionaries have slain the govt officials.

Singapore is good. Mandatory savings account that is auto-paid that rolls into life annuity (defined benefit - same money for life) upon reaching age 60-65. Since individualised, this pension crisis is avoided. * the govt does have catastrophic help for those with issues.

The dollar would be in for a doozy too if the US were still a confederation of states. Federalize, Europe. Come on

@Nickle314 Not sure what a socialist pension is, but singapore runs a mandatory private savings account that works like a life annuity (defined benefit - same money for rest of your life, regardless of how long you live).

Isnt the average age in japan 90? Higher than 40s...

Even private life annuities don't work like that. What would be the benefit if you only got back what you put in? No one would invest. It defeats the purpose of capitalism.

Just hurry and federalize the eu then. Spain is like the alabama of Europe. Once federalized, you can more easily institute reforms and standardise.
