  1.  @sailorplanetmars6103  Well to speak of the tradition argument, the senators were traditionally chosen by state govts and women couldn't vote. Those traditions have been broken, why not continue breaking traditions?

  2. Only the Turkish constitution (pre president erdogan) has the military as guarantor of the constitution. From what I've read in the us, generals can only resign and refuse to follow orders, they cannot remove the president.

  4. Imagine if state governors were elected by electoral college of 1 person per county and proportional by population in each county; or city mayors by electoral college with 1 person per ward and proportional by population in each ward 🤯

  5.  Brandon Price  Same with the governorship. No electoral college there though. Also, supreme court ruled in 1964 that representation is by people and not by trees (Reynold v sims). In other words, it matters more about population than by state or county.
