  1. His solution is more dems in the senate? That's it? That's like a tinpot semi-dictatorship saying the only way to end the tyranny is to elect me (eg let me be the tyrant). How about we actually structurally change the senate and house? For one, make the speaker and senate president non-partisan like they are in most democracies around the world. Speakers should not be able to partisan block bills from even being debated. Secondly, how about changing the senate from 2 people from each state elected by people after parties and corporate interests select the candidates, into a small jury panel of 5 per state, chosen by lottery and voir dired for unbiased non-partisan voting? Just those 2 for now. If anybody wants more, just say so. Cheers.
