  1. The opening premise is off. Many countries have conservative leaders. UK (Boris Johnson), Germany (not just conservative, but Christian conservative Angela Merkel), Australia (Morrison), Japan (Suga), etc. If you mean western conservative as in American style conservative rather than traditional conservative, then fine.

  2. The EU is a quasi country now. Hungary is just one of many that are starting to draw back (remember Brexit?). It either needs a Shay's rebellion like the US did when it was still under the Articles of Confederation and new constitution created to form a full federation, or it will continue to tear itself apart.
