Perhaps to engage all the populace (as sitting around watching netflix and sipping wine all day would eventually get boring and atrophy brain cells--research what happens to people after retirement) we should reduce max working hours to 2 per day (calculated by 25% given by professor). This would allow more to be in workforce despite automation. The wages would increase either by corporations giving more and/or by govt UBI. More free time is good but absolutely no work could cause crime to skyrocket, even with a UBI (for the lolz, not for necessity). Remember, Keynes did predict that working hours would reduce to 15 hours per week due to many advancements thst already exist and more.
