The mass media can get us fired and prevent us from ever holding jobs again, forever putting us on the govt dole on a mere allegation. Sad. There must be a balance. Why not withhold both victim and accused names until guilty verdict? The rights of the accused should be just as defended as the rights of the victim. Remember, accused doesn't always mean guilty. The news could still run the story as: "accountant accused of sxual harassment against a coworker" or something like that.

  4.  @glennpearson9348  Sad thing is the same thing holds true for non-public figures. How many times have you heard on the news about a named person being accused of rpe, etc even though it had not yet gone to court? I feel bad for some people because all they have to do if they don't like someone is to levy an accusation against them and they can be fired and blacklisted from other jobs. And suing for defamation doesn't work as the accuser may not be rich enough for lawyers to do, and suing the news is an uphill battle.

Legal question here: Assuming the governor wanted to not sexually harrass, but still pick up ladies at work, What could cuomo have SAID to pick up a lady (or guy😏) without harassment playing a part? How does a guy ask a girl out without harassment (eg asking awkward questions as its all lumped together)?

  7. So calling people nicknames is harassment? If I have a co-worker who always wears sunglasses on his head, is it harassment if I call him Shades or make comments about his future being so bright?

  8.  @soangry  I may not be the only person wondering and playing it safe. Birthrates have plummeted. Guess everybody is going to need to use a dating app now. Though, harassment can still occur there too. Ok....robot girls like in japan. 😋

  10. Well, in liberal democracies like the US, Canada, etc; (SEMICOLON!) the rule is innocent until proven guilty--the onus is on the prosecutor to prove guilt. It is not on the defendant (cuomo) to prove he's innocent.
