You mean Hillary doesn't eat children? Biden is the us president? Sorry, you're banned for spreading conspiracy theories. Trump is the eternal president and glorious dear leader 😋 Joke BTW. Not a trumplican.

Parler ceo/captain: the TOS is more of a guideline.

Unless declared unconscionable by the courts.

@oriolgonzalez9328 I know, right? The more I wait, the more time keeps on slipping slipping slipping into the future.

International contracts are related, but a whole other animal. The federation supreme court has no jurisdiction on Sheliak. The federation would have to petition the interplanetary court of justice(?) to intervene, without a stay. So, yeah, nah.
1
@artboymoy My point is that international contracts (which is what the relationship between the sheliak and the federation is) have no binding arbitration, even if they say so. It would be as if you and I entered an agreement without a govt to rule over us. Arbitration only stands if it can be enforced (ie police, confiscation, fines).

Parler could have argued that they were not aware of such allegations and they were not brought to their attention. Rumours by outsiders are just rumours and they had not yet investigated to determine.

@Paerigos From the incessant and questionably spammed Duckduckgo ads, I'd assume they are the hidden secret. Littered with ads, I'd assume the way they advertise.

Sorry, but saying too slow and backlog should be the reason to change is silly. Have you seen the backlog in american courts? Guess we should just drop the jury system and summarily execute criminally and civilly accused for breach of US terms of services. No trial needed. Got to get rid of this backlog 😋

@RequiemPoete The presumption of guilty until proven innocent is currently in effect by the mass media, especially when people who are merely accused are forced to resign or be fired before and if they are found guilty. This is especially true for sx crimes accusations. Even after found innocent, their names are tainted and continue to be on a blacklist. I'm no liberal party member (kiwi, not Aussie anyway), but Scott Morrison's speech about innocence until proven guilty, refusing to fire the accused, and to let the courts decide won my applause. Yay! Rule of law! This should be standard practice for all businesses.
1
@RequiemPoete So you're okay with losing your job or your son losing his job if someone accuses you or him of something you or him didn't do?

@sammiller6631 Whatever his motives (he is a politician), his words have merit.

Couldn't parler just run a TV ad or mail flyers with the actual URL to type in? No google, no Amazon needed.
1
It does that already. You can't refuse service because of someone's religion, race, etc, but you can if they don't have on shoes or a shirt or swear incessantly once inside. You'd think lack of money by those businesses refusing service to 20% of the population and another 78% that support minorities and would boycott would put the racists out of business in free market, but the govt did step in, based on needing a govt issued business license.

Hate speech! They are to be referred to as undocumented dreamer Eagles 😋

Parler should have stated: "we'd love to police our website, but we can't afford the manpower. We'd be happy to take any volunteers or staff you [amazon, govt] could provide."
1
@sobertillnoon Unless it's a protected group, then you are required to serve...unless they are [insert religion, race, ethnicity, disabled, rainbow] AND kick a dog.
1
That would require extra funds, which can be provided on patreon, if not satisfied with youtube autogen cc.

Shouldn't these one-sided TOS' be unconscionable? Sure, we don't like parler, but the law isn't just about parler, it's for all that contract with big tech, big pharma, etc.
1
Palestinians do this too. "Peaceful protests! Death to Amrica! Death to Isrel!" Purposefully misspelled. I am quoting...I do not endorse this.

It's fine as long as you're the president. Imagine if all Americans had a bicameral jury system where half of at least one of the two juries to pass had your supporters. Voir dire? Yeah, nah. Crazy americans. 🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿😉
