  2. I think, regardless of the population, I would prefer public transport to personally owned vehicles. Yeah, you have to wait (if they are serviced well, you can coordinate the shorter times), but after my vehicle got old and I keep getting worried something else is gonna burst (already lost a tyre, engine, AC, etc) and I would like to not spend money on fuel, maintenance, insurance, registration, amd other fees. I say replace all the streets with rail roads...or at least all public transport. No traffic jams if all public.

  7. I like the small city of ehime (yes, that's a city to me). I just dont like the 1 family per 15 acres where I'm currently at. It gets lonely. I have to either get in my beat up old car and drive 10 miles to the gas station for $20 chicken wings (3) or another 15 miles to a proper grocery store. I would kill for public transport. But America doesn't have intercity-intertown transport outside of new England and the joke that is Greyhound (5 days for 100 miles).

Nevermind the first nations as official languages as well...theyre not as historical and cultural as the French (per the govts argument). Each province should have the local first nation languages as official language for the respective province. Just MHO.

  14. No. Thst would be too convenient. Seven mega-metropoles, each around the size of Tasmania. The trick is getting to them as all the resources would be pulled out of rural and transferred to the cities.

  17. What do you think could reduce or eliminate corruption and other hindrances? The country im living in now has infrastructure problems. While there is some corruption, the heavier corruption is legalised (unlimited campaign spending, private corporations influencing govt to enact eminent domain for them, etc).
