it's interesting how the comments prove your point. it's amazing how many people have virtually no clue what any of this means. they don't know that climate change is physics. it is science and not politics. it's amazing how many people have no idea about the science/physics behind it. yet they are convinced that they don't like climate change so whatever is in their head must be the truth. they are convinced that they have a point even though their IQ is barely above room temperature. they are advice resistant in an almost religious way. I also got a feeling that most of them are americans. but that is just my observation.

Eugene Khutoryansky in east germany people found out about it by watching west german television. they also found out about the nuclear fallout over east germany by watching west german television. except dresden (the valley of the clueless where they couldn't get west german tv signals^^)

but in the german book it says above that the french guy used the temperature in a cellar as 0 and boiling water as 100. that's not the same as celsius. the cellar might have been at 0°C but who knows and even if it is a bit of a different approach

it's not a public road if you have to close the road, go over the speed limit and thereby turning it into a test track.

MrMichelNL if you watch arte france you will likely get french dubbing but arte germany sometimes uses subtitles. the zdf mediathek might also be worth checking out. there might be some options there.

so you missed everything after 2:12 ??? americans have a really short attention span.

if you reduce your speed over a larger distance you get lower acceleration. crumble zones do just that. they give you a bit more distance to reduce your speed.

@masonmunkey6136 wrong^^

correct, the wires don't even need to be connected for the first couple of microseconds and would still get that fraction of the voltage. See his later video where he explains it in more detail. It also helped me understand it better.

they could have done that but then scientists would have to be careful not to mix up the old meter with the new meter. but yes, defining the speed of light to be exact 300000m/s would have been more elegant but in 18th they didn't know that and if we change it now we would end up with a legacy meter and a new meter making everything more difficult.

MrNerdpwn it's not such a big secrete considering that the soviets had to mobilize thousands of men and probably admitted it to neighboring countries, after all in sweden the nuclear fallout was measured and everyone knew it came from the soviets so there is no point in lying about it. but the total media censorship in russia ruled it out to broadcast anything on state controlled media (almost just like today). if something makes the government look bad, it's not broadcasted. but western media is not a tool of the government so they could broadcast it. it's that easy.

@peezieforestem5078 Art is just childs play and you don't even need a brain for modern art. Math meanwhile is cold hard logic. don't mix the two it only shows you know nothing about them.

sorry but, negative pressure? is there any prof of that?

ok now I'm convinced

I can't say I'm convinced.

he sees your ships velocity plus that of the light beam inside the experiment though the window. so Vship + V light beam inside relative to the ship=V of the lightbeam he sees on the planet though the window. but that beam is still traveling only 10m/s. so he sees it traveling 10m in 1s. that means that the time inside the spaceship must be slowed down so that the light beam relative to the ship looks slowed down as well. (for him on the planet). and that finally means that it has .. part 3 ->

wrong. lift doesn't depend on the existens of gravity. who told you that? a boomerang on the international space station works because of the same principals.

Fahrenheit is not from poland. he is german and from danzig.

Danzig was build by germans (all the buildings in the city, up to the destruction in ww2) and inhabited by germans and it was under german rule for hundreds of years. there is nothing polish about Danzig apart from post WW2 soviets propaganda to try to "re-educate" the poles by erasing and denying all german history and using propaganda, so poles don't start asking questions about what the soviets did to "eastern" poland.
1
ok listen, you take Merkel back and we get Danzig.

a yes, Stettin. famously on the west bank of the Oder river and therefore legally still german territory. but for some reason under polish administration.

ISS. they do have air there. makes breathing easier.

not so sure about this.

for someone who tries to be an insufferable smartass you are pretty stupid. if you reduce velocity over a larger distance you get lower acceleration. you can do the same with time by increasing it and it's all the same and there is no difference since it's all in the same formula but from a practical engineering point of view we don't build crumble zones that magically measure time and try to adjust. we build crumble zones as volumina to increase the distance over which we decelerate. simple as that. btw this has nothing to do with "current state of material science". material science can't cheat physics.

imagine you build a spaceship and you go a little slower than light in relation to a planet next by. now you measure light traveling inside your ship. lets reduce c to 10m/s and not 300k km/s and measure it over a distance of 10m inside your ship . you would see that it takes 1s for the light to travel that distance. now this spaceship has a window along the 10m experiment so that someone on the planet could see it. part 2 ->
