  2. MrMichelNL if you watch arte france you will likely get french dubbing but arte germany sometimes uses subtitles. the zdf mediathek might also be worth checking out. there might be some options there.

MrNerdpwn it's not such a big secrete considering that the soviets had to mobilize thousands of men and probably admitted it to neighboring countries, after all in sweden the nuclear fallout was measured and everyone knew it came from the soviets so there is no point in lying about it. but the total media censorship in russia ruled it out to broadcast anything on state controlled media (almost just like today). if something makes the government look bad, it's not broadcasted. but western media is not a tool of the government so they could broadcast it. it's that easy.
