it looks german, the traditions are all german. how arrogant that they claim it's unique and try to make it look as if this has anything to do with france. many german cities look exactly like this one and the christmas markets and the traditions are all german and you can find them in any other german city.

***** it's a german city that has adapted french tendencies and not the other way around.

REVERT Nicolas they used to speak german (100% of the population) but in the 20th century france forced everyone to speak french and speaking german was prohibited.

***** lol. they are as german as a sausage sucking bavarian in lederhose. just because it's unique for france and yourself doesn't mean it's 'alsatian'. it's german because it used to be german for almost all of recorded history. it doesn't matter if it's saxonian, bavarian, alsatian or any other german tradition.

***** you can read right?

Christophe Drake just because france occupied and annexed strasburg, killed and expelled germans and enforced the ban on german, doesnt make it french. when hitler occupied paris it didnt make paris german, did it? .

***** no it isn't.

stephen10 yes, german, like I said. seen that one before. why do you send me this link? and why did you send me your comment before that one where you copy and past some general information about where Straßburg is? are you old and don't know how the internet works or are you mentally challenged to some degree? I just don't get it why you are even here.

stephen10 what does your comment even have to do with anything? are you completely mental and forgot to take your medicine? who said anything about carrefour? do you hallucinate me saying things^^? wow^^. and where did I give you lessons about alsacian? what's wrong with your head? do you want me to call you a doctor? btw alsacian is a german dialect. nothing special. sounds just like saarland dialect and many others in western germany. you can take that as a lesson. now leave me alone. nobody ever talked to you and you really haven't added anything to the conversation. so stop putting your nose into everything, no one wants you here and your mental comments are a joke.
