  2. why would you think he HAS to live in germany. he wants the passport and with it the access and rights of a EU citizen which obviously is beneficial in the EU. it makes for easy travel, working, retiring, doing business, voting, suing buying property, access to education, the possibility of his children to becoming EU citizen as well aso the list is long. it's not hard to understand is it?

  3. what people don't understand these companies compare your dna traits with modern population distribution. so if you dna test result comes back as 20% eastern european it means your dna is 20% comparable to modern eastern european populations. but that doesn't mean anything. germans invaded and settled east for over 2 millennials. same for spain and italy, all conquered many times over by german/celtic tribes over the centuries. that's why there are so many blonde italians in north italy aso. modern populations are not pure and besides, these companies compare only very few dna traits with very few modern population groups. the results are absolutely meaningless. just ask your grand parents where they are from. chances are that's a lot closer to where you hail from than all these tests together.
