For several reasons, such as Jesus not being a Levite, not restoring the Temple (which was still standing), not reuniting the tribes of Israel, not bringing everlasting world peace, and many more unfulfilled messianic qualities. Also we reject Christianity's proselytisation (prohibited in Judaism), and Christianity's worship of the messiah as a figure equivalent to, or a part of, G-D (considered idolatry, because the messiah will not be deified, but rather a man, just a man).

  19. Jesus did not fulfill many messianic qualities outlined clearly in the Torah, therefore he is not considered to be the messiah. Also the moshiach should not be worshipped as G-D, as the moshiach will be a man, not a son of G-D, or a part of G-D or whatever.

  20. Christianity really doesn't have that much to do with Judaism, 2,000+ years of Christianity changing and evolving while Judaism remains exactly the same has widened the gap tremendously. Christians who try to convert Jews to their religion serve only to widen that gap ever more.

  21. Many of the "truths" of the Talmud that certain people like to use to try to discredit Jews are either complete modern-day fabrications, gross misrepresentations/misinterpretations, or are no longer considered valid or compatible with modern life, as the Talmud is non-binding.
