They refuse to talk to Russia because the conditions of leaving the annexed regions to Russia are unacceptable after all the kills, rapes and war crimes not even considering the respect of the territorial integrity principle. If Russia annex the 4 regions and Ukraine get a deal peace what has Russia lost after all? nothing in my opinion instead they have gained more territories now than before. What has Ukraine lost? a lot considering also all the war crimes perpetrated during the war. So even a child understand that is not a fair deal, Russia should lose much more than the conditions it’s proposing
