  3. You are a rational person. The people who run Gaza are not. The Israelis left in 2005., Gaza is world class real estate. It could have been another Singapore by now. The Israelis would not have stopped it. Hate prevents rational thinking. The people of Gaza have brought the on themselves. If you are on the side of reason and decency then you have to take the side of the Israelis.

  10. No but they know what it leads to. We know that this is rank antisemitism because there have been no protests against worse things that have been happening all over the world for decades. The obsession with Israel is a flimsy cover.

  11. Israel is not a colonialist power. There was nothing worth colonising, the land was legally purchased at extortionate prices, and half the population is of North African or Middle Eastern origin. Irish people have been badly misinformed.

  14. It's not guilt. They can spot antisemitism when they see it and they know what it leads to. First they come for the Jews. The real target is is the Christians.

  15. Islam itself is an extreme right wing movement. All genuinely liberal people find it abhorrent. Anti Arab sentiment is fuelled by the behaviour of the Arabs themselves. You don't get much anti Chinese or a anti Vietnamese or anti Korean or anti Thai sentiment. People are also learning to distinguish between Christian Arabs and Muslim ones. A minority of Muslims can be serious trouble. We would not have all that trouble with airport security if it was not for them.
