  1. Poverty and race do not force people to fill up their shopping trolleys with food that will make them ill if eaten regularly. Then there is the vitamin D issue. Don't the medics check whether their patients and colleagues have sufficiently high levels? It is probably the most useful intervention that could be made to improve the health of people with dark skins living in northern latitudes.
