The one-evening-a-week course at the School of Economic Science in Mandeville Place (behind Selfridges) would equip you to take down the nonsense spoken and written by the majority of experts, politicians and journalists, and the damaging policies they are inflicting on the country. They can only get away with it because people do not realise that we are so badly misled by them.

  2. There is at least £30 billion of spare capacity that could be used to fund a rise in the tax free allowance. Scrapping VAT would also cost less than half of the headline figure. Reform of the chaotic UK property taxes could pick up any shortfall.

  3. M, you are wrong on inflation. It is a hidden tax, and inflation is government policy. And the government is not cutting it. The whole tax system is a disaster, and that is why the government resorts to inflation.
