  5. Disappointing. Marx developed his theories in response to his observations of the failure of early capitalism in Britain. These were a product of the land enclosures of the period after 1760. The problems that land enclosure caused have not gone away, and that feeds the left. It is indeed necessary to study history, from which it can also be concluded that without Christianity, the west is lost.

Krushchev stepped up the pressure again and it continued until the early 1980s. The relationship between church and state is inevitably a balance between tension and accommodation, everywhere and at all times.
