  1. The issue is destroying the whole of the west. Britain was hit about 20 years before some other countries; it did not arrive in force here in Sweden until 2015, though it has been incubating for 40 years. The Ukraine conflict is at least in part driven by the conflict between two sets of values. The west is on the wrong side of history and likely to go through the same torment that Russia went through.
