Apple is the perfect example if why the USA is doomed. We can't have nice things because we don't know how to recognize them. So many younger people I talk to seem afraid to buy anything that is not a "brand". My friend got a new car. He said ," It's a Nissan, it should last a long time". This was in the time when headlines about Nissan and it's criminal CEO were plentiful. The car was a piece of garbage, so, by the time he could replace it, Toyota was destroyed, with most models containing parts that would fail prematurely. That's right, he bought a Toyota, and had every brand of confidence it would last forever.
