In all the world these conditions exist because the rich and big business have sought huge, quick profit over sensible planning. In my old hometown, I worked with a guy whose family home had been virtually destroyed three times as he was growing up. His parents worked two jobs to pay off rebuilding loans. There was no flood control whatsoever there because homes should never been built there. Wait! I got it! The rich and big business are a malignant tumor, and everyone must take personal responsibility for their reproduction. There are far,far, too many people on earth, so we are trying to live where we will never be able to live.
