I sponsored a man from Brazil for over ten years, and he finally got citizenship in December. I am a poor American. I'm in the bottom 48%. I am no hero, not a great man by any means. Money is almost nothing in this life. Love is all. The more you love, the happier you are. I start with God, loving my God with all my heart and mind and soul, and that is the greatest thing in my life, a little more than half my joy. The rest is loving my neighbor as I love myself. Most of my friends have given every penny of their "stimulus checks" to people they love who really needed it. You might be able to do that as well.
