Well, Americans still think nothing on TV actually affects them. People just repeat what some talking face has said, like: I have nothing to hide, my data couldn't be worth anything, or I like ads. And most commonly people think a human would have to do this stuff. Since science no longer exists, people will believe anything. The have no tools in their brain to debunk or even question anything. So ten years ago I put a bandaid over the camera on my laptop, and now people say," What's that?". The memory hole. Everyone used to know why you put the bandaid, now almost no one does. They are thinking a person must be somewhere looking at them through their camera, and that's just impossible. But huge computer programs are watching everything, listening to everything, and only sends the good stuff to a human. And we have those humans. Homeland Security. I remember years ago when Elon Musk was asked what about Artificial Intelligence, and he is pretty unique in his reactions versus his responses. His reactions are more childlike, his responses are smart, well thought out, like a politician. He quickly reacted, his eyebrows went up, he seemed at a loss for words for a second, then he said, " Oh, that's bad! Very bad stuff!". Hard to read his facial expressions, but whatever else he was thinking after he said that, it made him quiet. Like specific thoughts were going through his head but he knew he could not reveal them to the public.
