The truth is simple and quick. Kraft kept increasing prices while more and more quality competitors were getting shelf space. So Kraft decreased quality to increase profit, and the competitors were much better.

Pineapple to plastic? That would reduce oil consumption, the opposite of what the oligarchs want. This will be crushed like the people who thought it up. It does look and sound good as a distraction from the ever increasing oil consumption. Note: there is no regular plastic recycling stream. None.

Recycling is not as profitable as selling new stuff. If the sellers don't have any responsibility for the waste they produce, nothing will change. They should have to take it all back and reprocess it.
